This short film shows Apollo 11 in 1969. A large rocket leaves Earth. Three astronauts travel to the Moon. Two of them land on the Moon in a small craft called Eagle. Neil Armstrong climbs down a ladder and steps onto the Moon. He is the first person to walk there. Buzz Aldrin joins him soon after. The two men plant a flag and collect small rocks. They take photos of the grey, dusty ground. Above them, the sky is black. After a short walk, they return to Eagle and fly back to meet their teammate. The crew returns to Earth safely. People around the world watch and remember this day.
السؤال 1. في أي عام هبطت أبولو 11 على القمر؟
السؤال 2. من كان أول شخص يمشي على القمر؟
السؤال 3. ماذا يفعل رائدا الفضاء على القمر؟

This short animation from NASA explains remote sensing. Remote sensing means studying Earth from far away, without touching it. Satellites look at Earth from space and collect many kinds of pictures. Some pictures show what our eyes see: green fields, blue water, and brown land. Other pictures show heat. Warm places look bright, and cold places look dark. Other pictures show the height of clouds and land. Scientists use these pictures to follow storms, fires, and floods. They also watch farms, forests, and ice. With many pictures over many years, we can see how Earth changes. That big picture helps us plan and stay safe.
السؤال 1. ماذا يعني remote sensing؟
السؤال 2. ماذا يمكن أن تظهر صور الحرارة؟
السؤال 3. لماذا يجمع العلماء الصور على مدى سنوات عديدة؟

This film from NASA and the US Geological Survey is about coasts, the edges where land meets sea. Coastal ecosystems store carbon, soften storms, and give shelter to fish and birds. They are also among the most threatened places on Earth. For over fifty years, the Landsat program has watched these coasts from space. Landsat tracked mangroves in Florida after hurricanes. It found eelgrass meadows growing in Canada. Today, Landsat also powers tools like STREAM, which puts coastal water quality data at your fingertips. With a long record from space, scientists can see what is lost, what is healing, and what needs care.
السؤال 1. ماذا تفعل النظم البيئية الساحلية؟
